I have read a few posts refering to a Win Card, and something about buying non-refundable chips for a discount price. Can someone shed a little light on this subject such as Where does one get one of these? How exactly do they work?
Win Card?
What you do is you purchase a set of WIN cards for $20, and you are given $30 in non-negotioable chips to use at the table games. These are currently available at the Luxor, Mandalay Bay, and Hard Rock. Other casinos have something similar for different amounts. I am assuming they are all basically the same, but when I did this at the Luxor last year, I received 3 WIN cards, with basic instructions on how to play blackjack, craps, and roulette. You will need to get these from the Players Club booth when you sign up for the Players Card. You can then take the chips and use them at the tables. It is a nice way to get started.
