Depends what you want. To relax and take the occasional dip to cool off I do like Golden Nugget the best. It is also river-front. For a happening scene probably Harrahs. Several of the others are in the shade much of the day which can be a bummer.

Golden Nugget%26#39;s is in a nice area surrounded by grass and palm trees with a view of river. It%26#39;s relaxing but the pool itself is small and nothing special. When I was there Friday was great by the pool with a reggae band playing. Saturday people showed up with a ton of little kids and basically took over the pool and turned the hot tub into their own kiddie pool.
I%26#39;m going to the Avi in a month and that pool looks like a resort pool. Big and sprawling, platform area with lounge chairs in the water, etc.
We are talking about Laughlin after all Joe Bob. The whole place is filled with old, pasty, fat people ;)
Seriously though I%26#39;m just pointing out that the GN pool is small and if you get a group of 12 or so kids in the area it will become crowded and less relaxing very quickly. I%26#39;m not old or pasty but other people could be annoyed by that.
We really enjoyed Harrah%26#39;s pool, it was very nice!!
Actually the best pool in the area does not open till june.....its the laughlin community pool....its even got water cannons and slides. If any body is here in june and wants to go send me a message and we will hook up and go swimming for a nominal fee.

Again, I have to vote for the Tropicana. It is train shaped pool with 2 hottubs. One that specifies adults only. There are cabanas available to rent too. They always have oldies playing on the speakers. I have always found it is a peaceful way to spend an afternoon and get some sun.
