Caesars Palace

I%26#39;m currently booked in the Roman or Centurion towers which I know are less then desirable, but it is for 5 nights free. I%26#39;m hoping to get a chance to upgrade at check in. Out of the Forum, Augustine, and Palace towers which do you I should ask for. Also what are the chances of getting a suite with two beds in any of the 5 towers on April 12-17? I was at one point mid to high diamond.

Caesars Palace

Just returned yesterday from 7 day stay at Caesars. We had 5 of 7 days comped so reserved upgrade in Forum Tower. At check-in we were ';upgraded'; to Palace Tower. When we questioned this, we were informed it was a 2 bathroom suite, jacuzzi tub, bidet, double connecting shower, etc. It was beautiful. The problem was it was the last room in Palace Tower, facing pool and CONSTRUCTION. Non-stop, beep beep beep, bang bang bang, starting before sunrise every day (approx 5 am and 3 am on Sat morning!) I did not want to repack and move and on hindsight, should have. If you are a light sleeper, I do NOT recommend Palace Tower facing the pool. Weather was high 40%26#39;s at nite, windy on several days (60s), high 70%26#39;s-low 80s. Locals said it is cooler than usual. Slots not paying at HET, but won $175 at Casino Royal! Won $32.50 at airport - go figure! Highly recommend Bellagio buffet for b-fast. 6th visit to Vegas (got married at Stratosphere chapel in %26#39;06). Rented convertible and rode to Red Rock, Valley of Fire and Route 66 this trip. Stood over the strip watching the ';lights out'; event on Sat. evening. Beats a cold, wet day in the East.
