Laughlin Ranch question for Grif or Polka

What is the Ranch like for food? We have now decided to get married in Las Vegas sorry!! But it was no contest with cost but are honeymooning in Laughlin. Just can%26#39;t wait to come back. We are coming to Laughlin the day after the wedding so thought it might me nice to have a really nice post wedding reception meal then.

Laughlin Ranch question for Grif or Polka

We have eaten at Laughlin Ranch twice and the food was very good both times. The last time was a year ago though. Their dining room is very nice, overlooking the course. Also, be sure to play our newest course, Los Lagos, if you can. I actually like it as much if not better than Laughlin Ranch.

Laughlin Ranch question for Grif or Polka

Would Saltgrass fit our reception criteria? I have read alot about it on this forum but didn%26#39;t see the restaurant when we were in Laughlin. Would like somewhere quite special but with fussy eaters need to be a steak and fries option too. Thank you.

My wife and I really enjoy Saltgrass in the Golden Nugget. You should have no trouble reserving an area there a week or more ahead of time.

Laughlin Ranch offered a varied menu when we were there last. All the way from steaks to burgers. It is certainly a classier place than our restaurants along the river. Although Saltgrass Steak House, The Range, The Lodge, Hickory Pit and the Prime Rib Room are all quite nice. The expensive restaurant upstairs at the Pioneer, Granny%26#39;s, is a bit too exotic for what you are looking for I am sure. Who eats Ostrich much anyway? ha, ha

Thank you for all your info, any thoughts about the Tropicana Steak House as we are staying there. I think ostrich is definitely out!!

I would avoid all of the Trop restaurants. Although the hotel and casino is quite nice, we have had only bad experiences in their restaurants.

Actually you might want to look at Granny%26#39;s menu online. The most ';exotic'; things on the menu are duck and pheasant. Not sure why the snarky reference to ostrich.

If it is an intimate dinner for just the bride and groom, I can%26#39;t think of a better place.

They are also quite capable of handling larger groups if your party is bigger.

You might also call ahead to have the chef prepare a set menu for your table.

Congratulations on the upcoming nuptials.

Avoid all trop restaurants.....why grif.....i have eaten at all of them in the last month....they were all good.....better value than anything else on the river. Buffet is super.....so is the upscale.
