Staying at Harrahs mid May, and was wondering about the beach and swimming in the river. Is it worth it to bring snokeling equipment? thanks

I don%26#39;t know what you%26#39;d see snorkling besides mud, sand, and rocks hehe. The river is cold. I swam in it last May at the state park just off the strip and I%26#39;d estimate the temp was in the low 60s. I%26#39;ll be in it again this May on the Avi beach.
