Why is the traffic so bad on Tropicana? Is it due to some road work that is being done or is it just that busy? If due to road construction, does anyone know when it will be completed?

Mabye do a search. Someone posted a link a couple of weeks ago. Something to do with getting stuff from Terminal 3 at the airport to a sub station.
I was there friday thru monday.
Friday afternoon was a nightmare. My buddy took 40 minutes to get from before the MGM to the rear of MC. When he picked us up that same trip took about 20 minutes I think at 4:45pm on friday.
I took picks on saturday and the traffic wasn%26#39;t bad. Center lanes are coned off on both sides of Las Vegas Blvd on Trop.
Dunno how long.
