First, make sure you%26#39;re flying into terminal one for this. If so, usually the lines are very short, so one person can check in while the other waits for the luggage.
When I%26#39;ve done it, wife has waited for luggage and I%26#39;ve been back before the luggage arrived.
If flying into terminal two, just go straight to the hotel.

When we used it, the line was very short and I was through at the same time that DH walked up with the luggage so we went straight to the hotel and straight to our room. I thought it was great!
