Restaurant recommendations for a great birthday treat?

Visiting Las Vegas for the second time in June but this time taking my mum and dad as a surprise for his 55th birthday (it will be their first time).

His birthday is actually on the Saturday night and we would really like to take him somewhere special.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Prime at the Bellagio...great food, amazing service and a great view of the fountains.

There are a large number of ';special'; dining options in Las Vegas.

If he%26#39;s a seafood eater, you can%26#39;t go wrong with Bartolotta%26#39;s tasting menus. They%26#39;re pricey but worth while.

Another option might be to combine dinner %26amp; night life at someplace like Voodoo Steak %26amp; Lounge at thr Rio.

If you do book Prime, when making the reservation, request a table by the windows, also request after dinner coffee/drinks and/or dessert out on the patio at Prime, it%26#39;s lovely out there and there%26#39;s not a better view of the fountain shows anywhere in Vegas than on that patio! Mention the b-day. Remind them of your requests and the b-day when you arrive the evening of your reservation.
