Cigarette's

How much are Cigarette%26#39;s in Las Vegas?

Cigarette's

I%26#39;m gonna go get a cup of coffee and wait for the flaming responses to this one....

Cigarette's

Smokes are no longer cheap in Vegas. The last time there, I saw them advertised for $4.50-$5.00/pack.

I%26#39;m really dating myself, but remember when you could get a free pack by just asking the waitress or dealer for some smokes. This was back in the late 70%26#39;s / early 80%26#39;s when better than half the population smoked and they were 50 cents a pack. Ahhhhh the good old days....

Of couse, I quit 5 years ago after 30 years of a 2 pack-a-day habit, so they can charge whatever they want now.... To this day, I take the daily savings I would have spent on smokes and split it between a semi-annual Vegas vacation fund and additional payments against my mortgage. I%26#39;ve paid down the mortgage by about $10K and taken two (soon to tbe three) trips to Vegas. It%26#39;s a win-win-win proposition.

BTW, I actually don%26#39;t mind the smoke smell in the casinos. It harkens me back to a simpler time when gas was less than a dollar, there were plenty of $1 BJ tables (paying 3/2) and you still had to pull the arm on the one-arm bandits.

Fed taxes just jumped today. So add another buck.

was there a week ago. went to the paiute indian smoke shop on north main street downtown. had a coupon that i got online for $1 off per carton. they had samples to try of off/indian brands and we got cartons for $15.75 each (very much comparable to marlboro light 100%26#39;s or basic light 100%26#39;s). popular brands are more money and as of today there are new taxes.

*for all who hate smoking and smokers, etc., this post does not need or want your responses.

$6.00 for domestic brands is still really cheap.

I pay $12 a pack here, domestic brands are $10-ish.

I quit smoking in 2005, but I remember back as recent as 2003 being at the Luxor and MGM and getting free smokes just for asking while at the tables. And I wasn%26#39;t playing high limits.

I saw $7 in the vending machines for premium brands

When I was there 2 weeks ago the cheapest pack of cigs I bought on the Strip (all in hotels - none in Walgreens or some place like that) was, I think, 8 bucks.

Last year my husband ran out of cigs and bought a pack right next to Carnival court for $7.50
