Vegas Pools

A few girlfriends and I will be in Vegas come the first weekend in May and were wondering about Vegas pool areas. We%26#39;ll be staying at the Palms, but none of us have ever been to the pool there--let me clarify, none of us have ever been to any pool in Vegas.

My questions are: Which hotel has the best pool, and will it be a problem if we wanted to visit a pool at another hotel?

Please advise; any help would be great!

Vegas Pools

www.lasvegasadvisor.com has a great section on pools.

Palms is considered one of the best ';party'; scenes. Other pools have parties, charge an entrance fee, you do not have to be a guest. Very few properties allow non-guests other than parties, check the pool section to see if it%26#39;s updated for this year. In the past those that did allow non-guests (usually for a few) Rio, GN, Flam

Vegas Pools

';Best'; pool depends on just what you%26#39;re looking for. Do you want a pool with loud music and a great party vibe or one where you can just chill out and relax? What%26#39;s more important to you, a wave pool, lazy river and beach or great drinks service and poolside dining?

With one or two exceptions (Flamingo%26#39;s pool is open to the public after 1pm and last year you could pay a charge to visit a couple of pools), Vegas hotels%26#39; pools are for the use of guests only. You may wish to consider one of the ';adult pools'; around town which you can access by paying a cover charge, though this is often lower for girls.

We%26#39;re actually just looking to relax as much as we can during the day and leave the partying for the evening so somewhere we can just lay out, relax with a few drinks and a book would be nice.

Do you know if it would be very expensive to maybe, ask for a private area? I%26#39;m sure those are available, correct? Just to avoid the crowd I%26#39;m sure will be rather large.

Most people would not consider a quiet, uncrowded pool area to be the best pool area.

The good Vegas pool areas are huge, beautiful, fun places. If you%26#39;ve never been, you will be blown away.

You%26#39;ll have a lot of fun.

most pools have cabanas available for the day - charges vary from a few hundred to over a thousand. and each hotel has different policies and procedures for booking.
