Help plan perfect day for hubby's b day

Ok here is the scoop, going to Vegas late june into july for hubby%26#39;s b day, we;ve been there twice before, but not for seberal years. Anyway trying to think of a ';perfect'; day for him. This is kinda what I was thinking.... Ok we are staying at the Flamingo ( I know, but hey it was comped for all 4 nights, so we have to just deal with it) maybe try to sleep in a bit, I would love to order room service, but he is not a room service kinda guy, then hang by the pool for a few hours, then either a massage for 2 ( need suggestions on where)or I was thinking of making him a reservation @ The Art of Shaving ??? I think that the name , dinner, someplace nice romantic maybe ( he would like a steakhouse, hopefully one that wont break the bank lol.... then onto a strip club, (yes Ive been with him here at home once in awhile) Im fine with it. So how does my day sound?? Any and all suggestions, or alternatives are welcome.

Thanks!

Bonzo

since you know your usband and what he likes it sounds fine, since this suits him. this would not be a perfect day for many - so what!! It is your husbands birthday, you know him and will plan accordingly.

Does he like massages and a shave? Would this be HIS idea of a perfect day?

Give us a price range for the dinner ';won%26#39;t break the bank'; is too subjective.

Happy birthday

There%26#39;s a beautiful spa at the Venetian/Palazzo called Canyon Ranch...it%26#39;s wonderful. Also, the Encore has a breathtakingly beautiful new spa. I am also taking my boyfriend to the Art of Shaving. Keep in mind, even though there are 2 locations in LV (Fashion Show and Mandalay Place), only the Mandalay Place location offers services. The other only sells products. As for club, I am thinking about going with my boyfriend to Spearmint Rhino.

Thanks for the reply bridgefan, yes he loves massages, the shave part, well that I dont know, he does have a full beard and mustache, lol so I guess he love a professional shave ???? I dont know.

Dinner, around 200 total, is that possible for a nice steakhouse, maybe with a drink or two ?

Strip club....um yeah..he likes.

bridgefan, if you dont mind answering, are you a male or female ?

Thanks again

Bonzo

Thanks Luxegirl, Yeah Spearmint Rhino is also one that Im considering, %26amp; thanks for the spa suggestion. Any dinner thoughts?

We are actually going to Strip House for one of our dinners this time. It%26#39;s a ';sexy'; steak house because they have beautiful pin up pictures on the walls and it%26#39;s kind of a throw back to the speak easy days. We are big steak people. We ate at CUT last time and I liked it but he didn%26#39;t. Dinner for the both of us ran almost $400 I think.

Does he want to get rid of his beard and mustache??? If not, there%26#39;s not much to shave. Also, my husband is an electric razor guy and he had one of those fancy shaves once and hated it.

Last year, year before?? (Can%26#39;t remember alchol rots brain!) I took my Dh to Art of Shave at Mandalay Place. He loved it. Closest shave he ever had. He now goes a few times a yesr just to be spoiled.

Hold on there now. Lets think this through.

First off, most guys, of which I am one, basically just like 2 things. Booze and companionship.

Now think to yourself, does you husband sit around all year talking about getting a massage or going to a romantic dinner? If he does then you are on the right course.

If he doesnt then that is because he is not thinking about those things. He is spending his time thinking about how much he likes beer and bedroom activities.

The best treat a man can have for a birthday present is some beer at the crack of dawn. Have an ice cold 12 pack there waiting for him in the morning and encourage him to drink some for breakfast and he will really be smitten with you. Then maybe enjoy one anothers company for a while before starting the day.

After this, he will be pretty much happy for the rest of the day and you can go off and get a massage or whatever it is you want to do and leave hinm by the pool. He will enjoy this much more.

Then go someplace fun for dinner. Not romantic but someplace he would like to go.

It sounds more like you are planning your birthday party and not his.

I hope you have fun. Trust me on this, I have been a guy for a long time and I know what we like.

I%26#39;m sure she knows what her guy likes. Sounds like a good plan to me.

OP here, ok guys guess I should have given a few more details. Ive given my husband gift certificates for massages in the past and he ALWAYS loved them, he is always complaining that his back, neck, shoulders etc are bothering him, plus I think this would be nice for him to relax with a massage before going out on the town. Ok the dinner thing, the one really nice dinner we wanted to do while we were in Vegas would be on his B day, of course I asked him what kind of food he would like on that nice ( I was doing the research on restaurants) ex, seafood, italian etc, he requested a steakhouse...

The shave thing, no he doesnt plan on shaving off his beard and moustache, just thought a nice professional shave would be a treat.

Coeddie...your responces I must say had me laughing, i doubt very much he would want beer for breakfast, but if he did I would just say ';knock yourself out';

I really didnt see that I was planning this as my likes for a birthday, other than hanging by the pool for a few hours, its massage,a nice shave, steak dinner and strip club, sounds ';MANLY'; to me LOL.

Keep the ideas coming.
