Stratosphere Rides

Hey all!

Has anyone been on any of the rides at the Stratosphere? I%26#39;m a bit of a chicken but I%26#39;m dying to go on at least one of them this time. I%26#39;m thinking about the one that%26#39;s like an arm sticking out over the strip or the one that looks like your going to shoot out over the strip

I have been on two of the three. The Big Shot is really good, Ex-scream (the one that goes over the edge in a car looking thing) is pretty lame. Insanity looks good but I have not been able to try that one yet as it was closed due to high winds when I was there. When are you going to LV?

We have done all three, and well it used to be four back when the coaster was running :)

Bigshot is cool - They shot you up the radio antenna. They claim you reach several G%26#39;s.

Insanity (I may get the name wrong) Is way COOL B-)

It takes you out over the parking lot then spins. The seat will rather quickly go vertical so you are looking straight down.

X-Scream is LAME - One ride and it lasts about 20 seconds. It%26#39;s like a bobsled which two share a set. If you can get the front row, it may be better, but it%26#39;s a flat ride out with little more.

We did it at 3:00am so the Lights and Neon were really awesome while waiting for the lines.

Have fun and do them all as the ticket price is not that much more then two :)

I do not think I can do the Big Shot because I am afraid of elevators lol so that will scar me for life

I will probably do the lame one since it doesn%26#39;t seem terrifying and I might consider the arm thing

How much does it cost to go on all 3 rides? Is it expensive? I%26#39;m going to be in Vegas from 8 - 15 April and I am planning to try out all 3 rides :-)

I still think the big shot is the scariest of them all, but that%26#39;s the only one my wife will ride.

Insanity was fun. Make sure to look down, the view is amazing!

X-scream (over the edge) was enjoyable only because I could was spotting all the hotels on the strip, the ride itself wasn%26#39;t too scary (but don%26#39;t tell my wife this, she had her eyes closed the whole time)

Definitely worth it in my opinion. I though X-Scream was terrifying, I was in the front row.

I would venture to say they are some of the most terrifying, and exciting rides on the planet.

definatly due the big shot and insanity. the screa i sreally lame like others have said. the elevator ride up isnt that bad either.

refill
