Please describe the scene downtown for this ACM weekend

Hello all,

Could you guys please describe the scene downtown for this ACM weekend? Will they still have cheap drinks and will they be flowing freely? Also, where is the best place to have our cab-driver drop us off as we%26#39;ll be coming from the Convention Center area? AKA what%26#39;s the cheapest route for him to take to Fremont area?

There are supposed to be some free concerts from some of the artists in the ACM%26#39;s

Isnt the award show at the MGM??

faster, The show is at MGM on Sunday, but there are some free shows on Friday and Saturday Downtown.

I%26#39;m guessing Wasp is right on this one. I%26#39;ll be there sans cowboy hat though. Guess that makes me a plain drunken loser.
