Four Seasons swimming pool

We are thinking of trying the Four Seasons Las Vegas the end of May for my wife%26#39;s birthday instead of going to the Four Seasons Scottsdale. We have stayed at the Wynn, Venetion, Bellagio, etc, but this trip we are interested in a change and we like the Four Seasons brand(we were just at the Four Seasons Maui over spring break). For the most part we intend to be poolside and relax-we are not big gamblers. In late May does the pool get full sun all day? In addition, does the hotel spa/workout area have dry and wet saunas for complimentary use by hotel guests? Any help here is much appreciated.

For the most part, the pool is in the shade in the morning. But you have access to the MB pools if you want sun.

Great choice. IMO the FS is the nicest hotel on the strip. There is morning shade at the pool, but sun most all the rest of the day. Know that the FS pool is smallish. And as said you can use the MB pools which are FAB!

Yes saunas are complimentary. Sorry don%26#39;t remember if they have wet, do have dry...if my memory is correct.

Thanks for the replies. When you say ';morning shade';,what time would that be until, 9:00, 10:00 or 11:00?. I know it seems a bit strange to get so specific, but keep in mind we are also looking at Scottsdale Four Seasons, where its not even an issue.

Morning shade ends by may be 9:30, but it is not the entire pool. You are really comparing apples and oranges as the 2 resorts are different. You might want to also look at Ritz Carlton at Lake Las Vegas.

You will have no problem getting all day sun at the FS pool. As mentioned earlier - before 10:00 a.m., sun is shaded by hotel, but the pool is south facing and as soon as the sun clears the hotel, it is direct sunlight all day. If you want sun late in the day, you will need to move to the east side of the pool by the Veranda Cafe.

The pool is much smaller than Wynn, Bellagio, but service is muuuch better. Gym complimentary and is very good . The FS Gym overlooks the pool. I usually get a locker for the day so I can work out, shower up, go to the pool without having to go back to the room.

My favorite pool in Vegas in terms of relaxation and serenity. Where else can you get free ';treats'; like popsicles and Evian spritzes?...... :-)

Thanks for the posts-very helpful.
