Downtown cheap beer?

We leave Friday afternoon %26amp; will be staying downtown for my niece%26#39;s wedding. I know Mermaids %26amp; Labayou have slushy machings, but where downtown has cheap beer? Thanks.

The Fremont has Heineken and Coronas for $2 all the time. If you sit at the bar and play some nickel VP, it will only cost you a tip which is what I did this past trip. Other than that, it%26#39;s basically $2.50 to $3.50 a bottle.

If you actually want GOOD beer, head to Main Street Station or Four Queens (Chicago Brewing Company). The stout at CBC is excellent.

ABC store has lots of cheap beer.

Ahh you missed the days of the Spike and $1 quart%26#39;s. They also had $1 Sam Adams. Fun time hanging out with all the homeless and newly released.

The Plaza and LV Club also have $2 Heinie%26#39;s. I prefer a micro but a unskunked Heineken will do in a pinch.

12 oz cans of Milwaukee%26#39;s Best Ice are under $1 at Tiffany%26#39;s next to Fitzgerald%26#39;s. Don%26#39;t laugh, this is a Miller product, and a very decent brew.

Stick a $20 in 9/6 Jacks Or Better machine at the Boar%26#39;s Bar at Main Street Station for much better free micro brews.

Fitzgerald%26#39;s used to have one brand of $1 bottle beer at the bars.

Sorry I can%26#39;t contribute more, most of my drinks are comped while gambling.
