Bill's Gambling Hall....the Suites

A lot of you mentioned that Bill%26#39;s is a good place for a ';newbie'; not in need of the glitz and glam to stay. I really prefer a suite but on all of the sites I looked at the suites never come up as an option. Do they rent the suites out to only the ';big players';? Or do I just need to call them directly?

Does anyone know how much the suites go for per night at Bill%26#39;s?

Thanks

Lee

My understanding is that they only have a few suites at Bill%26#39;s. They probably book up too quickly to ever regularly offer them as an internet booking option. In this case, you probably need to call reservations directly.

Bill's Gambling Hall....the Suites

I will call them directly. Thanks so much!!

I stayed in a suite at Bill%26#39;s (Brabary Coast) three years ago. The suite is 900 sq. ft. It has on open room, no seperate BR closed off from the living area.

It has a fair bath, and does have a large jacuzzi off the living room area. The jacuzzi is not in the bathroom area. The furniture such as sofa and chairs were leather, black and quite worn. We had no view at all. The room was fairly dark.

Unless the price is significantly lower than the Venetian, Wynn or Encore, I would choose them over Bill%26#39;s. Advantage to Bill%26#39;s is small casino and hotel. Only 200 rooms, so no long walks. Good drink service, and great location. I had to call to reserve the suite. Since it is changed to Bill%26#39;s since I stayed there, not sure of their policy or price. We stayed on Superbowl weekend in 2006 and paid $185. night.

I was upgraded at the Barbary Coast about 3 years ago. It was on the second floor from the top with a corner suite looking down on the Flamingo and the strip. The suite had a large family room with a big wet bar and half bath with a small dining room. The bedroom was a typical bedroom with a normal full size bath. The furniture was nice though both in the family room and bedroom.

Harleebb, I just stayed in a suite at Bill%26#39;s in early March and was very pleased. Huge living area with sofa, two chairs coffee table, dining area, huge bar with fridge, microwave and half bath. Separate king bedroom w/ two vanity%26#39;s walk-in closet, bathroom w/shower and a walled off area that hides a huge jacuzzi tub. I%26#39;m not sure what the price would have been, this was a comped room for me. I did get a chance to see a regular room, and I would have been happy without the suite upgrade. I did price a suite on a previous occasion and I think it was $189/night.

Sorry, I ramble....but I will say that as a female traveler, sometimes solo, Bill%26#39;s is a bit old style Vegas, but the room is neat, clean and I%26#39;d be comfortable staying there, even traveling alone. And you can not beat the location.

Also, check out traveler%26#39;s photos on the Bill%26#39;s hotel review on TA and you%26#39;ll see some nice photos of regular rooms and suites.

I really appreciate you giving me the information. I actually prefer something that isn%26#39;t the run of the mill. I%26#39;ll call and see what the price is for the suite. My fiance gets up really early and it%26#39;s nice if he can have his space if I want to sleep in!!

Thanks

Lee
