Bellagio towers

Are the rooms different in each tower? I would like to be close to the pool area, should i request one tower over the other?

As tx said, Spa Tower is closest to the pool. Standard rooms are identical in terms of layout irrespecive of which tower. Spa Tower rooms are newer.

The pool area is almost as easily accessible from the Main Tower as the Spa one, only a few steps away from where the elevators are.

I agree with Gabby, the pool can be easily accessed from either tower - main tower is a tad longer down the hall but they both have direct access (i.e., no need to walk through the casino), just from opposite sides.
