Laughlin Community

Polkadad and Grif, would like to say, while driving around looking at Condos for sale or lease for next year, we were quite impressed at the manicured and clean gated and non gated communities Laughlin has to offer. Even the parking lots at the business%26#39;s were void of trash. Very charming town. We are on the waterfront on Bullhead side. Nice view but miss that neighborhood feel.

I agree. We have some nice clean places in Laughlin. Bullhead City can go either way as you know.

I keep saying it but its true....you can really get some good deals on this side of town now. Theres some places that were going for 200,000 that are going for 140 and 150 now.....And one bedrooms are going for 80 in some condo developments.

The one thing that you HAVE to buy on the Bullhead City side is gas.

I notice a $0.25/gallon difference between the two stations on the Laughlin ';Strip'; and a couple gas stations near the Dodge dealership in Bullhead.

I%26#39;ll have to second what polkadad says about home prices. We just purchased a 2 bedroom condo in fantastic condition, with a river view, in Laughlin for less the $70k. The mortgage is less than a typical car payment!

Thats nice....congrats on the condo purchase.....wish i would have bought now instead of three years ago. Mines lost at least fifty grand value.

Second the comments about Laughlin vs. Bullhead gas prices, the difference is usually substantial. On a trip 10 days ago gas was $2.39.9 in Laughlin.A quick trip over the bridge to fill up in Bullhead was 193.9 a gallon. While many may feel that it is not worth the time to just save a few bucks, for a Laughlin local and visitors like myself that do not like to be taken advantage of,it is worth the trip into Arizona. For those with a motor home or large rv with a very large tank it most certainly would be worth it.Discovered this gas price disparity about twenty years ago,and ever since, when driving in from SoCal always fill up in Bullhead the first day.

You are so correct about buying your gas in Bullhead City vs. Laughlin. Also, you do not want to buy gas in Needles-- even higher than Laughlin. It takes almost 30 gallons for me to drive from my place to Laughlin, so finding a good price for fuel to drive home is important.

I seriously considered buying a home in Bullhead about 8 years ago. Price are soooo much cheaper than California. I was going to use it as a 2nd home/rental?/investment type deal.

I decided against it, as I think Laughlin is a great place to visit, but I do not want to live there.
