Chances for Venetian deals/comp in May?

For those of you that have been getting the comped room offers from the Venetian/Palazzo-I have gotten the offer in Feb-the 2-4 rooms comped and used the offer in Feb for 3 nights. We got the same offer that goes through April, but we are not going until over Memorial Weekend in May.

I did call and they told me the offer for comp rooms was only good through April and to call back. For those of you that get regular offers from them do you think we will get another one for May? Once you are on their list do you stay on it for awhile? I know their is no guarantee, but wondered what the more experienced members on this board thought.

We are low rollers and this is the first time we have gotten comped room offers.

Most hotels only comp their better customers for a holiday weekend. You may get a discounted rate but I wouldn%26#39;t count on a comp unless business projects to be especially soft.

Were hoping to get ours for June. We stayed comped at Palazzo last year and loved it. We%26#39;ve also been getting those offers about comped rooms but its%26#39; too early for June. I called and the lady i spoke with said it would be mid march before /if that same offer is continued .

We also got one that is good thru the end of April. Since we%26#39;re going in May, I called to find out about the likelihood of getting a similar offer good for May, and like another poster said, they indicated that it would be mid-March when those offers (if there are any) are sent out. So I booked the Palazzo anyway, since we love to stay there, but I%26#39;m hoping an offer comes for a cheaper rate....Since May is a busy conference time in Vegas, I%26#39;m not sure what the odds are that we%26#39;ll get anything. But keeping my fingers crossed!

I am keeping my fingers crossed also on getting an offer for May! I love staying at the Venetian-we have never stayed at the Palazzo.

There%26#39;s a very large convention in town starting around May 18 or 19. The following weekend is Memorial Day. In past years Memorial Day weekend has been a big one for Vegas. Unless you are a big gambler, doubtful you%26#39;d get comped rooms that weekend. You might be able to get a discounted room, though. I%26#39;d go ahead and book now, you can always change it if and when offers come in.

Went home from work yesterday and found an offer in the mail from the V/P for 2-4 nights comped until the end of may.

Hmmm, maybe it%26#39;s time for those of us going in May to call back and see if there are any offers sitting out there...can%26#39;t hurt.

Alas, I%26#39;m not on the list of ';comp'; visitors as yet, but I have gotten discounted room offers for my trip in June. It is unfortunate that my arrival will be 5/31 and neither Venetian or Palazzo have anything available for discounts on that day, but I was able to book rooms for 6/1-6/4. For those of you that need rooms in May, I%26#39;d suggest you call to check, what can it hurt? I was encoraged to keep checking back for availability on the 31st, which I will do. Good luck.

How many guest rooms at V/P? Notice there%26#39;s a convention 5/30 - 6/3 with 35,000 attendees. That might be why I can%26#39;t get the 31st. ?? Anyway, heads up if anyone is booking around that time.
