First trip to Vegas

We are making our first visit to Vegas next week staying at TI. Any suggestions on where to go for brunch and dinner (reasonably priced)? Where do you get the coupons for the 2-1 dinners? Should we get show tickets online or wait till we get there? Any places we should NOT miss since this will probably be our only trip to Vegas. We are not big gamblers but want to see Vegas.

First trip to Vegas

I would suggest Burger Bar, PF Changs, Grand Lux and Wynn buffet for reasonably priced meals. I believe that you can get discounted meals at the 1/2 price ticket booths.

If there is a show that you really want to see, I would get the tickets now. Otherwise, check out the 1/2 price ticket booth.

I suggest taking your time and visiting most of the strip hotels - Wynn, Bellagio, Venetian, Mandalay Bay, Planet Hollywood, etc. I would also take a trip to Fremont Street at night. You could look into a Hoover Dam trip if that interests you. Also, don%26#39;t miss the view of Vegas from the Voodoo Lounge at the Rio.

Have a great time.

First trip to Vegas

Since your at TI make sure you stop in to kahunahville bar. Really fun times to be had there with their flare bartenders and dueling pianos. We went there when we stayed at TI and will go again this week when we go staying at NYNY

Pace yourself, that is the best advice I can offer. No matter how hard you try, you will still leave wishing you had seen this or that. I would suggest a show as that is a unique part of vegas. Meal deals can be found and you won%26#39;t need coupons. The Hard Rock offers a great steak and shrimp dinner for $7.77 and so on. If you don%26#39;t have a car, take comfortable shoes and just enjoy what you can.

Some of the don%26#39;t miss I would include would be:

Belligio Fountains

Freemont street

Strip at night

Try the Peppermill diner for a late breakfast or lunch . . . not sure what they%26#39;d have that you%26#39;d consider ';brunch.';

For a reasonable dinner, I%26#39;d suggest one of the 24-hour casino restaurants. We never ate at the one at TI, but Caribe Cafe next door at Mirage is fabulous. Also try Grand Lux at Venetian, Augustus Cafe at Caesars, Victorian Room at Bill%26#39;s. Other options in the area: Marguaritaville, Toby Keith%26#39;s I Love this Bar and Grill (Harrahs) or the Maggiano%26#39;s Little Italy at the Fashion Show Mall.

If you want to see a specific major show, get your tickets in advance. If you want to save some money and are more flexible in what you see, check out one of the Tix4Tonight booths (there%26#39;s one next door at Fashion Show Mall). Note . . . tickets are only sold at these booths the day of the show, but you can save some $$$.

Yeah . . . we thought our first trip to Vegas would be our only trip too. Not so much ;) It%26#39;s become an annual trek now :)
