Cheapest place to book a hotel in Vegas?

Hi

My and the missus have decided to visit vegas for our 10 year anniversary in June -as our honeymoon was in vegas. Probably doing sat %26gt; saturday and wont to stay relitavely close to the strip. Was thinking along the lines of the Rio etc as I see to recall it has complimentary bus to most places on the strip.

Anyway - as I live in the UK but dont mind paying via a US site, is there specific sites I should book with to get the best deal?

Vegas.com has deals on the suites which may fit my bill?

Any advice appreciated.

The best deals are invariably to be found by booking direcly with the hotels themselves. Here%26#39;s a couple of sites that list various promotions:

By all means look at third party sites such as Expedia, vegas.com and others but be aware that you won%26#39;t get the flexibility that booking direct gives you. If you book direct with a property and its rates for your dates subsequently go lower you can call the hotel and it will (unless you%26#39;ve booked using a promotion that specifically can%26#39;t be modified or cancelled) adjust your stay to the new lower rates. You couldn%26#39;t do this if booking using through a third party.

Sometimes hotels will match cheaper rates that you may find elsewhere. Check their websites for details.

The Rio has a shuttles to Paris and Harrah%26#39;s. Any reason why you don%26#39;t want to stay on the Strip itself?

Much appreciated for those links. We wanted to stay at the Rio as loved it last time we were there.

BUT I have just seen the promotion or MGM Grand, which includes free daily buffet. WOW, may go there and upgrade to to a suite.

Go to sites of Harrah owned casinos (Flamingo, IP, Bally%26#39;s, etc.) and click on hot deals. We paid only 45 a night in early January for the Flamingo for dates we found on this site. I would always check the hotel room site first, many tines they would be as cheap or cheaper than Travelocity, etc. You also don%26#39;t have to pay any booking fees and generally have a better cancelllation policy, too.

Hi slewis , I think that MGM Grand offer says daily access to the buffet, I think that is like a line pass and not a free buffet but I could be wrong. You may want to call and check on that. Have fun on your trip!

From reading another post, it is a free buffet, but there was discussion about whether is was one free meal (for two people) per day, or free breakfast, lunch an dinner for 2 all on one day only. It sounds like it was one free meal each day of your stay.....

Golden Gate in downtown is the cheapest. Saw rooms for $19/night

I booked a room for $25(including tax) at Harrahs for May. Booked through orbitz. They had a deal, buy 3 nights get the 4th free, also I had a coupon code for $50 bucks off. Booking 3rd part probably will make it harder to get a upgrade for free, but for $25 bucks a night I%26#39;m not to worried about it, doesn%26#39;t get much cheaper than that.
