MGM comped me 3 nights for next month.

Will be going out on Southwest, non-stop from Hartford on May 10th-14th. The R/T air fare will be a total of $319.20 (just me).

I had been out there at the MGM in Feb. and stayed 4 nights Mon. to Friday. At the end of that stay VIP Services comped 3 of the nights. I was very surprised and happy because I am not a high roller by any stretch. Anyway, tonight I called MGM VIP Services again for this coming trip and they agreed to the same offer.

I don%26#39;t have a casino host or anything like that and this freebie didn%26#39;t show on my playersclub.com account.

Just wanted to point out it never hurts to ask...you too could be pleasantly surprised. :)

I also got in the mail 3 comped nights for my LV trip in June. We have 5 nights at Paris and the 3 nights at MGM. I do gamble at Borgata (an MGM property in Atlantic City) but I don%26#39;t think they connect with MGM properties in LV as do the HET properties. I had called an MGM rep but he said I didn%26#39;t gamble enough to justify giving me a comped room, then I got the pro from MGM direct. So who can tell how they do things.

Enjoy your trip.

Hi Tango,

I wish you much luck for your trip in June as well. I often gamble at the MGM/Foxwoods in Ct. and their point systems are not connected to the MGM properties in Vegas either.

Really don%26#39;t know how the 2 properties are connected other than by name?

I was able to purchase, with my points, a gift certificate at MGM/Foxwoods which can be used at MGM Las Vegas though.

Good point Rich and now you have 3 nights free!!!

Say hello to my lil green monster!!!

Tried to play there Saturday, but my card was fried and the Players Club line too long!!!!

Have a GREAT stay!!!!!

Have a great time.

Me and the gang are going May 20th. I received an e-mail from VIP services offering me ';Special Rates';. When I called I was offered $49 weeknight and $79 weekend in the Grand Tower. My buddy decided to call them and they offered him 3 free nights. I told him to call back and ask if those 3 nights were in a Suite and he did. They said ';sure'; and gave him a bungleow suite.

Neither one of us is a really big gambler. Chuck plays a little more than I do obviously, but last year I kept forgetting to use my card. My point is that if you have a players card it doesn%26#39;t hurt to call and ask for VIP Services and ask them what kind of offers you might have.

Thanks to all for your kind replies. I am looking forward to it in a big way.

I%26#39;m guessing the weather will be warm enough to girl watch out by the pool in early May? That would give me opportunity to get away from the casino for at least a little while and to partake in my other fav pastime. :)

I%26#39;m 63 and I think I have a large pair of those %26#39;old people%26#39; sunglasses for those occasions.

Danno, your friend even got a bungalow suite? hmm, I didn%26#39;t want to push my luck but maybe I%26#39;ll make another call?

Vegas is all about luck, so push away. Worse that can happen is the say ';no';. Best that can happen is you get a suite. Good luck and let me know what happens.

It does pay to call! Nothing spectacular was showing on my players club account at MGM for May so I called and got 4 of my 5 nites comped and going to the DMB concert!! I heart the MGM!
